I worked a day at the zoological department of the Swedish museum of natural history yesterday, with the kind and knowledgeable Yngve Brodin. This is hopefully just the first of many this year. The aim of this work is for me to gain more knowledge about primarily hoverflies but hopefully also other flies so that my fieldwork will be even better in the coming years.
Here is the stunning entrance of the museum. It truly is a marvellous building. For those of you passing by Stockholm I can truly recommend also visiting the rest of the museum, since that in itself is a great experience.
