My new, temporarily normal life is
1) going to the lab only if I do experiments,
2) working from home with my cat,
3) joining our lab virtual morning tea with my noisy cat,
4) having a walk for one hour,
5) taking yoga lessons on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UEWJsljPVM), and
6) talking/eating/drinking together with my family and friends in Japan and other countries online.
Also, playing with Matlab scripts is effective for relaxation now, especially when I get bored by watching Netflix. Some progress in Matlab releases my anxiety as if assembling a jigsaw puzzle.
I somehow like the current lifestyle, although sometimes it's a bit hard to remain sane.
I hope you also find a few positive impacts by being a homebody; ひきこもり(hikikomori). I wish we all can see your family and friends physically after we all get through this situation.
